About Us
Based on the spoon theory*, SPOON.SAVER is a healthtech startup that aims to preserve the number of spoons, or rather the amount of energy, expended by populations with severely limited amounts to begin with. Our inspiration will forever be our vulnerable communities: the disabled, chronically ill & elderly.
This HIPAA compliant, blockchain secured, and artificial intelligence powered mobile application concept seeks to:
- Streamline the patient's journey within the convoluted US healthcare system.
- More importantly, by incorporating AI technology, patients struggling with mental health illnesses can experience less frustration and quicker relief.
* "The spoon theory is a metaphor used to describe the limited amount of energy that people with chronic illnesses or disabilities have to complete tasks, with each task requiring a certain number of "spoons" or energy units. Once a person runs out of spoons, they are unable to complete any more tasks for the day. It has become a popular way to raise awareness and promote empathy for those with chronic illnesses or disabilities."
